As the co-creator of this comic, I can explain that the joke here wasn't that the movie overstressed that line, it was that the trailer and advertising for the film were really throwing the word "visionary" around very liberally. Our previous comic from a few days before had been this exact same comic except with the comic versions of the characters (http://www.letsbefriendsagain.com/2009/03/06/everybody-wants-to-rule-the-world/)
